I have had good luck with Grizzly tools. I have a couple of air nailers and also a band saw (14"). I have had the band saw quite a while, and it has performed well. I also will sometimes order my shop supplies from them when they run a sale catalog on what I need. I am close to their Springfield, MO store, so I can stop in if I need to a couple times a year.

I think Grizzly is a couple steps above some of the cheapo-depot stuff you find around. On that cheapo subject, I bought an electric grinder from Harbor Freight last week. This grinder was an 8" and I wanted it mostly for mounting a wire wheel on it. I got it home and set it up and this is the truth: It was a 3400 rpm grinder, and I could actually reach out and stop the wheel with a gloved hand!!!

It went right back the next day. I do not recommend Harbor Freight tools.
